I have replaced my bent stock bars with a pair of Vortex clip ons. Probabaly lost a few poumds in the process as well, but I have a brand new set of Kevlar Goodridge brake lines I want to use for my racebike. Thing is thatthey are for a CBR600 F4i and are a couple inches too short for my YZF.

If I move the clip ons below the triple clamp I think they will fit. But I haven't got the bodywork on yet, and do not know if the clip ons will hit the fairings if I move them under triple.

I ran mine below for track days. lock to lock you may get a little interference with the fairing and tank depending on how you adjust the levers. I never had an issue.

Not sure If your moving the clip-ons for performance or to use the brake lines. Unless i'm imagining things(which is very possible)doesnt the brake line go to the M.C. which is attached to the the triple..? So moving the clip-ons wouldnt solve that problem

The brake master cyl is located on the right clip on, as the brake lever operates it. The lower the bars are located, the shorter the distance to the brake calipers.
