I just purchased my first bike (street bike). I ride dirt bikes as much as possible and it transfers over pretty well. Looking to gain as much knowledge about the Genesis as possible. I live in Portland Oregon any body else from the area? if so let's ride! :peace:

Awesome. I just watched your rebuild video that was great man thanks!
So just curious but I'm noticing its kinda clunky switching into first and second riding casually. Under hard acceleration I've hit a false neutral twice shifting from 1st to 2nd, I assume that's going to get worse. Also I hit a large stretch of stop lights and realized the temp kept climbing for the first time. It was only about 60 degrees outside and I was just cruising prior to the red lights. My questions is it never got above 100 on the gauge but at what point should the fan turn on? Thanks again

yup that sounds normal.

and yes the gear problem will get worse but you might have time

just shift as best you cant to not add extra wear.

but when it goes dont panick, with all the info on the web we have made it as easy to do as possible if you are willing to try and be detail orientated
